Click the Button Item Database
Items are the heart of your progression in Click the Button. Every chest you open delivers one item, and every item you collect adds a permanent bonus to your earnings. There are no duplicate protection mechanics — the same common item can drop many times while you are still missing rare items from the same tier.
The Items hub is organised into two main sections. The Collections guide covers every item organised by rarity tier, with notes on how to complete each set and what Collection Bonus you receive when you finish a tier. The Best Items page ranks the most impactful individual items across all tiers to help you understand which drops to get excited about.
The Six Rarity Tiers
All items belong to one of six rarity tiers. From most to least common: Broken, Nice, Expensive, Robust, Nocturnal, and Extraterrestrial. The higher the tier, the rarer the item and the more powerful its effect. Each tier has its own pool of unique items, and completing all items in a tier awards a Collection Bonus.
Item Effects
Items provide four broad categories of bonus:
- Click boosters increase your Money Per Click by a fixed amount or percentage
- Passive boosters increase your Money Per Second by a fixed amount or percentage
- Global multipliers apply a percentage increase to all earnings from any source
- Collection set bonuses are activated automatically when you complete a tier set
Multiple items of the same type do not stack — each unique item provides its bonus once. The challenge is finding every item in each tier to maximise your bonuses.
Collection and Why It Matters
Collection is not just a completionist pursuit. When you complete a rarity tier set, the game awards a Collection Bonus that applies a permanent multiplier to all your earnings. This makes completing collections one of the most impactful long-term investments in the game, because the bonus compounds with every future income event.
As you complete tier sets, the completed tier items are removed from the drop pool, which concentrates future drops on the tiers you have not yet completed. This creates a natural progression where completing collections simultaneously rewards you with bonuses and makes future collection faster.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about the game.
Do duplicate items give any benefit?
No. Each unique item provides its bonus once. Duplicate drops of the same item have no additional effect beyond the first collection.
Can I trade or sell items?
No. Click the Button has no trading or player-to-player economy. All items are solo-player collection progress.
How many total unique items are there?
The total pool spans six rarity tiers. The Collections guide has the exact count for each tier. Players tracking full completion should expect over one hundred unique items across all tiers.
